This is going to be a post of random pictures. Sorry. I'm trying to catch up, but not miss anything I want documented! Here goes: Anna made this apron by herself using my extra scraps from a project . . . and staples! She's a creative girl!

We had a lot of rain last week. I am a mother who lets her kids play outside in almost any weather. It does make more messes, but they love it.
The girls received special 18" dolls for Christmas, and they selected June 5th as the dolls' birthdays. So we made cake, or I should say cakes! Samantha decorated the donut-looking cake above, and Anna decorated the oddly-shaped cake below. It got only slightly delved into by a little brother, who shall remain nameless. It started out as a perfect circle.
Here's the big cake. Chocolate of course. It was delicious, if I do say so myself!
A dress I made for Samantha. I love doing bright prints for the girls. If I'm going to make their clothes, then they have to love it, which means it should twirl and be made with beautiful girly colors! This one definitely fulfilled Samantha's expectations. I made one for Anna as well, but the fabrics are slightly different.

After one of the rainstorms we all went out on a walk to look for puddles.
They were not hard to find. And yes, that is a cemetery you see. We live across the street from a very nice cemetery. You don't see the cemetery from the house, unless you know it's there. There is some forest between. I share that info in case you were wondering ;)
They caught sight of the awesome puddle in the background, and ran like mad!

I love having the cemetery. It's where I run in the mornings. It's so quiet :), and it does keep life in perspective. Great way to start off the day, in my opinion!
This was today. At 9:45 am. Adam had been outside for maybe 15 minutes, when he came to show me his awesome rock! How did he get the mud on his face? I will never know, but I could guess!!
He put his own shoes on. Those were khaki shorts.
