Four Month Check-Up

Here are the stats:

Weight - 17 pounds!!! (over 90th %tile)
Height - 26 1/4 (over 90th %tile)
Head Circ. - 16.5" (around 55th %tile)

His first helping of rice cereal. He loved it. He's my first baby to successfully eat on the first attempt. And I didn't feed the girls until they were 6 months old. Samantha took this picture!

The girls love Adam like crazy. He's getting used to being squished and poked. He didn't even cry when he got the first of 2 shots at his doc appointment. He wasn't happy about the second shot, though.

This is what his hair usually looks like. I took him to the doc a couple weeks ago because he had really bad eczema, and so now he gets rubbed down from head-to-toe with a special cream 3 times a day, which leaves him with this awesome hairdo.

And this is how my bread turned out the other day. It's a yummy artisan bread, but the dough rises very quickly, and in this case I wasn't able to get to it quick enough. So it ended up being so big it didn't fit on my pizza stone, so I just turned it into a c-shaped loaf, as pictured above. Samantha thought it was great, and it made really great french toast for dinner!

Lately

Well, time is going by quickly. We are doing very well, and enjoying our children, and basically accomplishing nothing else, and deciding not to worry about it :) Samantha continues to be a good big sister, Anna continues to be a precocious 2 year-old, and Adam is a calm, happy little guy. He is a little bit noisy, so we may have yet another chatter-box on our hands. Who needs peace and quiet anyway?

You can see that Adam is just a little anxious about Anna's hugs. But she loves her little brother.
