Anna's Newspaper Debut!

Over a month ago I took the girls to a nearby library for "Music in the Garden", which was put on by a local artist who sings children songs. The girls had a fantastic time - the performer was very entertaining and engaging for them. They filmed as well as photographed the event. The footage was shown on the town channel, which we don't get because we are not in that town's boundaries. The lady filming the event came up to me after and told me I must watch it because Anna was the star of the show. She said she knew it wasn't fair to the other children, but that she couldn't help herself. She said Anna is a little Shirley Temple, and that if she were me, she would get Anna on stage. :) Most of you haven't really spent a lot of time with Anna, but she is something else. She is always smiling, and she will talk to anyone. I know, we have no idea where she came from. If she didn't look just like Paul, we might wonder if she was ours.

Anyway, this is turning into a long story. So I was at the library a couple of weeks ago, when the librarian told me that she saw Anna's picture in the paper, assuming that I had known about it. I am so glad she told me, otherwise we would have never known! Again, we don't live in that town, so we don't receive that paper. So she got me a copy of the paper and said she would get me a copy of the video as well. Anyway, it's not a high quality photo, but it's definitely Anna, being Anna. We were pretty excited. She was "featured" twice, once on the front page in a small picture referencing the story, as well as with the article inside the paper.
