Let's Go Fly a Kite!

There is one interesting fact about myself that many people do not know. I have never flown a kite. I know you are all shocked. So yesterday was a beautiful day, and Paul's parents had brought back a little kite from China for Samantha, so I put two and two together, which equaled a great time for our little family! Samantha thoroughly enjoyed the little kite train. She was able to run with the string and fly the kite by herself, which made for some really fun pictures and memories. Anna enjoyed being outside and watching the action.
Paul's sister Pat and her family came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. She and her husband Dave, as well as four of their seven kids (from left to right in the picture), Sarah, Davy, William, and Jared came. We had a great time! We saw several sights, swam at the town beach near our house, and stayed up too late playing games and going for walks. We really enjoyed getting to know them better, and I think they enjoyed seeing our girls and the area, and hopefully Paul and I too. :) It was fun to go to church and see people's reactions to our neices and nephews, seeing that Jared is older than I am. The Sunday School teacher looked a little confused when I dropped off my 16 year old neice for class.
